​Types of erotic photography / nude photography

​There are different definitions of erotic photography. The boundaries to the individual styles of nudes from the nude photo shoots are partly fluid and depend partly on the personal feelings and background of the viewer.

Nude photos / nude pictures
A photo that artistically depicts the completely naked body. Often in the form of detail shots (body landscapes, bodyparts) and kept in black and white. Colloquially often referred to as a "nude photo". Also known as body painting artwork. 

Partial nude photos
The photo shows a partially covered nude body. Also referred to as a lingerie photo.

Erotic photos
A photo that focuses on sexual attraction without being too explicit (i.e. not pornography). For example, also as aesthetic BDSM photos (bondage, fetish, kinky, sub, bottom, lacquer & leather, blindfolds, bondage, shades of...). 

Lingerie photos 
Erotic, but not nude. To be photographed in underwear to be photographed also has a special charm. The viewer does not get to see everything, and thus remains free space for fantasies. Beautiful lingerie, corsages, sexy lingerie, stockings, etc. can conceal places conceal and at the same time highlight special charms.

Pinup photos
The model is shown in an erotic pose, often in the style of the 50s. "Pinup= pinning" - the origin of the term comes from the calendar motifs of lightly dressed women, who were pinned to the wall or the spindle door were pinned.

Boudoir photos
Boudoir photography has its origins in early
wedding photography, where erotic-sensual photos were given as a gift to the Groom were taken in the bride's dressing room (boudoir). Mostly in soft light and sensitive mood.
